ARTEMURA

The Artemura Residence
is in the heart of the city of Pistoia, a few
steps away from the Longobard Piazza della Sale,
today home of the most colourful fruit and flower
markets and the impressive Piazza del Duomo,
where it is possible to admire buildings which
symbolize civil and religious power in the city:
the 13th century Palazzo Comunale, Palazzo Pretorio,
the Romanic cathedral with its silver alter
dedicated to the patron saint of the city, St.
Jacopo, the baptistery and the ancient Palazzo
dei Vescovi, today home of the Museo Capitolare
and Museo Archeologico.
